Triplemint Hosts Panel About The Intersection Of Real Estate And The Digital World

On March 28th at Bank of America Tower, real estate and technology startup TripleMint hosted real estate agents, managers, and marketing and PR executives for an exclusive panel on “The Future of Real Estate, Digital, and the Consumer Experience.”

Members of the real estate community came out from all brokerages (including Douglas Elliman, Corcoran, Town, Stribling, and Brown Harris Stevens) to learn what these expert panelists had to offer on the future of the real estate and interacting with their consumers.

Moderated by Eric Barron (Chief Revenue Officer) of TripleMint, the panelists were carefully curated and included the following: Andrew Foote, Managing Director of Edelman Digital New York; Matthew Shadbolt, Director of Real Estate Products at the New York Times;RuslanTovbulatov, Director of Corporate Marketing, Thrive Global; and David Walker, CEO and co-founder of TripleMint Real Estate.

Over the course of an hour and a half, panelists spoke about many topics including how the mindsets of consumers have shifted, how there has become a distrust among the general population to brands and the media, how your brand must offer value to the consumer, and how brands have developed personalities in order to succeed.

When asked what the key takeaways were for the audience, panelists responded accordingly:

Panelist Andrew Foote mentioned digital marketing: "Establish digital marketing goals. Where do you want to be by the end of 2017? An increase in inbound calls from Instagram? Massive follower growth? Make those goals and track them relentlessly."

Panelist RuslanTovbulatov spoke to content strategy and said, “When planning your content strategy, find the overlap between (1) what you have expertise in and (2) what your audience cares about. That is your sweet spot.” Additionally, don’t miss the mark about posting specifically to your channel: “The next time you're thinking about posting just a listing, take it a layer deeper. What will my life be like in that listing? Give us context.”

Panelist David Walker spoke to the importance of voice: “Be authentic with your voice, make sure your online and offline personalities are engaging and complement each other.” He continued discussing other brands and their importance: “Be active in researching what other brands are doing and how you can learn from them.”

Ending the panel on a high note, panelist Matthew Shadboltconcluded his key takeaway as follows: “It’s more about what you need to stop doing. You need to think about how your time and customer's attention interact and overlap.”
