Cosentini Associates, a Tetra Tech Company, will Relocate Headquarters to Premier Midtown Office Tower in Early 2020

George Comfort & Sons, Inc. announced today that it has signed a new 60,000-square-foot lease with Tetra Tech, Inc., a leading provider of consulting and engineering services, at 498 Seventh Avenue, its prestigious 25-story office tower in Midtown Manhattan.
A majority of Tetra Tech’s space at 498 Seventh Avenue, which encompasses the entire 15th floor and a portion of the 14th floor, will be occupied by Cosentini Associates, a Tetra Tech Company with more than 350 design professionals in offices around the world. Cosentini is part of the Tetra Tech High Performance Building Group which provides its clients with sustainable and environmentally responsible building design solutions. Cosentini Associates will relocate its headquarters from 2 Penn Plaza in the first quarter of 2020.

Renovations at the tower include the installation of a new façade on the first two floors, as well as a reimagined lobby designed by Gensler that will have three prominent street entrances in addition to two private lobbies for SEIU, the major tenant in the building.
Owned by a partnership of George Comfort & Sons, Inc., Loeb Partners Realty and JP Morgan Chase Asset Management, 498 Seventh Avenue is located just a few blocks north of Penn Station, with convenient access to subway and commuter lines as well as vast dining and retail options. Notable tenants of the 960,000-square-foot tower include CB Information Services, Transfix, Inc., Hazen & Sawyer, and JP Morgan Chase Bank.
