Kapnick arranges lease for flagship location of natural bubble tea concept with a 2,401-square-foot space at 168 Bleecker Street
Mark Kapnick, Executive Managing Director/Principal, of Lee & Associates NYC has negotiated a ground-floor, 2,401-square-foot lease at 168 Bleecker Street, between Sullivan and Thompson Streets, for MÖGE TEE.The company is known for their wide selection of bubble teas, including cheese tea varieties that use fresh cheese imported from Australia. MÖGE TEE is committed to using zero trans fats in all of their products. Customers can also enjoy fresh fruit teas, matcha teas, classic milk teas and a selection of coffees.
“With 150 outposts already in China as well as five stores in New York City, MÖGE TEE is well positioned for success in this new Greenwich Village space,” says Mr. Kapnick, who represented both the tenant as well as ownership, RWN and JMC Holdings, also known as 156 Bleecker Owner LLC. “Seeing as it’s adjacent to the NYU campus, 168 Bleecker Street will make for a perfect flagship location and will cater to students who are looking for an on-trend beverage option.”
The future home of MÖGE TEE is conveniently located only a few blocks from the A, C, E, B, D, F and M trains at the West 4th Street-Washington Square station. Surrounding retailers and restaurants include (Le) Poisson Rouge, Sweets by CHLOE, Miss Lily’s, Le Souk, Bar Veloce and Caroll Place.
The space was previously Pieology and MÖGE TEEwill take occupancy on August 1, 2019. The lease term is 10 years and asking rent was $150 per square foot.
