New Deli Opening Represents Second Location in Rossi’s 40-year History

In an exciting move to better serve its loyal and ever-growing customer base, Roticceria Rossi & Sons (Rossi’s) will open an additional brick-and-mortar deli at Eastdale Village, the region’s first pre-planned community of its kind. The Eastdale Village location, slated to open in Fall 2020, will be Rossi’s second deli, with the flagship remaining on South Clover Street in Poughkeepsie.

Rossi’s flagship originally opened in 1979 as an Italian grocery store by Poughkeepsie-residents Giovanni and Angelina Rossi and Ms. Rossi’s brother Victor Trocino, who immigrated to the region from Italy. Today, it is run by the Rossi’s three sons, Fabio, Mauro and Roberto, and has grown into a beloved deli and catering company. The new location will allow Rossi’s to serve a greater audience while maintaining the same level of service and hospitality customers have grown to love over the last four decades.
