Helmsley Spear, LLC, America’s oldest continuously operating real estate firm founded in 1866, is pleased to announce that the firm has represented Burgher Gray LLP, a boutique corporate and real estate law firm that moved to 1350 Broadway in October 2016, in its expansion and renewal of its office space from 3,460 square feet into 8,266 square feet. The firm signed a 10-year lease.

Helmsley Spear’s Rene Hamilton represented the tenant and Shanae Ursini represented the landlord in the lease expansion and extension.
Mr. Hamilton said of the expansion, “This expansion and renewal ensures Burgher Gray as a staple tenant of 1350 Broadway. We were happy to support their growth within the ESRT portfolio and look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”
1350 Broadway is a 25-story, 400,000-square-foot office and retail building. It has been called the Herald Square Building because of its Midtown South location and is directly across from Macy’s flagship store. The property is owned by Empire State Realty Trust.
