In a transaction arranged by CBRE, Guidepost Solutions has inked an 18,224-sq.-ft. office lease at the Sapir Organization’s 260 Madison Avenue. The firm, which provides security, investigative, compliance and monitoring leadership for critical client needs, will relocate its executive and administrative offices from 415 Madison Avenue and will occupy part of the third floor at 260 Madison Avenue.
The CBRE team of Peter Turchin, Gregg Rothkin, Brett Shannon, Tim Freydberg and Jared London spearhead leasing at 260 Madison Avenue and acted on behalf of the ownership. David Stockel, also of CBRE, represented Guidepost Solutions in the lease negotiations.
“Guidepost needed to relocate its offices from 415 Madison Avenue due to the ownership’s plan to demolish and redevelop the property,” said Mr. Stockel. “Working closely with my colleagues and the Sapir Organization, we were able to craft a lease that provided Guidepost an ideal opportunity. In addition to the efficiency of the floor layout and proximity to all major transportation options, the Sapir Organization is also providing a high-end turnkey buildout.”
The sister building to 261 Madison Avenue, 260 Madison boasts more than 500,000 sq. ft. of quality office space. In addition to Guidepost Solutions, other notable tenants at the property include HanesBrands, Epix, Regus and Marcus and Millichap. 260 and 261 Madison Avenue were purchased by the Sapir Organization in 1997 and together the properties total more than one million square feet of space.
In each separate case, tenants were specifically attracted to the Sapir Organization’s construction expertise, executed by affiliate SFM Construction, and their ability to provide creative turnkey installations to companies regardless of size or complexity. Guidepost Solutions is a global team of investigators, experienced security and technology consultants, and compliance and monitoring experts. With headquarters in New York, Guidepost Solutions maintains offices in key markets including London, Singapore, Bogotá, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Miami, Oakland, Palm Beach, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
