Leading Harlem-based brokerage hosts free open-to-the-public workshop At Harlem Headquarters at 2101 Frederick Douglass Blvd.

Bohemia Realty Group, the full-service real estate brokerage specializing in the sale and leasing of residential and commercial properties in New York City, will host the 2020 debut of its monthly workshop series on Wednesday, January 29, 7 to 8 p.m., at their office at 2101 Frederick Douglass Blvd. Entitled “First-Time Home Buyers,” the event is open to the public at no charge. Zachary Tolmie, a home lending officer from CitiBank, will be leading the discussion. Moderating the conversation will be Bohemia Realty Group’s Erin Whitney.

“It’s natural to feel a bit overwhelmed when buying a home for the first time,” explains Sarah Saltzberg, co-founding principal of the brokerage. “Our workshop will break down everything that attendees need to know about the process, including the right amount to gather for a down payment and how to take advantage of the loans and programs that are currently available.”
