Jeffrey L. Heller, Avison Young, Principal and Managing Director of New Jersey, is announcing that Rick Zack has joined the company as its new Director of Real Estate Management Services.

In his new role, Zack will be tasked with overseeing business development for the firm’s asset and property management business throughout New Jersey, as well as spearheading the growth of Avison Young’s real estate development asset services on behalf of institutional owners and local investors.

Zack brings over twenty years of comprehensive property management experience across most major real estate asset classes to his new role at Avison Young, including financial reporting proficiency combined with a full knowledge of construction operations and project management practices. He most recently served as a Regional Vice President with CIM Group, L.P. since 2018. Prior to that, Zack spent almost 18 years with Advance Realty, where he oversaw the property management and construction operations of a portfolio with over 4 million square feet in NJ, MD and VA.

Zack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University as well as a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designation from Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) International, the leading independent educational institute for the property and facility management profession. He also holds designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), including Certified Property Manager (CPM), Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM). Additionally, Zack holds memberships in both BOMA New Jersey and IREM New York.
