ABS Partners Real Estate, a leading New York City-based real estate firm, today announced that Joseph Leone, a property management executive with more than two decades of experience in stewardship of prime New York City office buildings, was promoted to serve as the firm’s Director of Property Management.In this role, Mr. Leone, who joined ABS Partners in 2018 as Senior Property Manager,now directs a team responsible for the management of more than 13 million square feet inproperties primarily located on the East Coast of the US, as well as an in-house design building team and construction oversight. The announcement was made by Gregg Schenker, President and Co-Managing Partner, ABS Partners Real Estate.

“Joe has proven himself an exceptional property manager and leader, approaching every asset with professionalism and skills that inspire his team to raise their game and pursue Class-A practices that produce results in terms of value enhancement and tenant comfort,” Mr. Schenker said. “We’re delighted to have him take the helm of our property management division and continue our tradition of excellence in this critical service – both for our own portfolio of assets as well as those we manage for our third-party clients.”

Prior to joining ABS Partners, Mr. Leone spent 20 years working for some of the industry’s premiere property management and ownership firms focused on iconic Class A assets. He began his career in property management at JP Morgan Chase on its 13 million square foot Class A Manhattan office portfolio. He then served as Property Manager for the world-famous GM Building at 767 Fifth Avenue on behalf of owner Boston Properties. Prior to joining ABS Partners, Mr. Leone also worked with Commonwealth Partners as property manager for 787 Seventh Avenue, and in senior property management roles at CBRE and Colliers.

Mr. Leone attended Fairleigh Dickenson University and resides in Denville, NJ.
