PropTech fine arts firm launches weekly artist interviews and special programming platform to further connect the art world to real estate

Alpha’a, the B2B, crowd-sourced and purpose-driven PropTech fine art sales platform, announced the launch today of Alpha’aTV, the content-rich platform of artist interviews and special programming that further connects art to real estate.

“As Alpha’a continually grows its global community of more than nine thousand curated artists, we wanted an ongoing way to introduce them to each other and to the real estate owners, landlords and collectors who use art in their properties,” said Renata Thomé, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Alpha’a, who hosts the Alpha’aTV interviews. “Our platform features one-on-one interviews with the artist, round-table discussions with artists and collectors, as well as third-party video and audio interviews with myself and Manuela.”

Manuela Seve, Co-Founder & CEO of Alpha’a, noted that one of the videos on the Alpha’aTV platform features herself and Ms. Thomé as first-round episode winners on this season’s edition of Meet The Drapers, a groundbreaking reality show in Silicon Valley, in which viewers get to decide the next big idea in tech. The show scours the world for the best entrepreneurs and selects the top 27. The selected founders get up-close and personal with three generations of the Drapers, as well as with celebrity guest judges, to fight for a spot in the grand finale.

The Alpha’aTV platform features weekly content including but not limited to: Artist Q&A and special art business talks.

Alpha’a was also featured recently in The Related CompaniesRelated Life webinar series, which is conducted exclusively for its residential tenants. Ms. Seve and Ms. Thomé made a “Art 101” presentation on fine art in property and took questions from Related tenants. Their second event together was a special round table for Earth day, where they invited artists and environmentalists Jeremy McKane and Basia Goszczynska to share their work and thoughts on how art can create a positive impact.

New York City based and Brazil originated startup Alpha’a operates across three continents and is the world's biggest inventory free virtual gallery, with more than 1,100 pieces of art sold in the past two years and a $6 billion total addressable market. The firm has the proven ability to quickly assemble and install on-demand, high-quality curated, limited-edition prints for the hospitality, office and other real estate markets.

Alpha’ais a member of MetaProp VC’s 2019-20 accelerator cohort.
