On heels of combining with Halstead, new BHS site is now home to 1,400 NYC & Hamptons Agents
Brown Harris Stevens, one of the largest privately held real estate brokerages in the nation, has launched a revamped website with new design layouts and search functionality. The newly enhanced website is now also home to 1,400 agents across NYC and the Hamptons including hundreds of agents formerly affiliated with Halstead. The move comes after Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead announced plans in June to restructure under one unified Brown Harris Stevens brand.
New website aesthetic and functionality updates include cleaner layouts, larger fonts, increased home search criteria as well as redesigned agent profiles. Another major milestone marked by the website redesign is the full integration of Halstead Development Marketing into Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing led by Stephen G. Kliegerman. That division will now function entirely under the Brown Harris Stevens banner along with its $3 billion current and pipeline project roster.
“We are building a stronger company with an exciting culture, and the new BHS commanded a new look for a new era,” said Brown Harris Stevens CEO Bess Freedman. “The wonderful thing about Brown Harris Stevens is that we are a legacy brand with 150 years of incredible history – and we have a foundation like no other real estate company that will catapult us into future success.”
The real estate giant has also launched a new mission statement to better articulate its course of direction and compliment the new look: Brown Harris Stevens has been a trusted leader in the real estate industry since 1873 because we treat our agents and clients with exceptional care, service, and professionalism. Our success is driven by our results - we believe the role of a real estate agent is to put your interests first in guiding one of life’s most important investments with ingenuity and discretion while supporting the communities we serve.
While NYC is the first market to fully integrate, Halstead’s offices and agents in the Hudson Valley, New Jersey and Connecticut will also officially join the Brown Harris Stevens brand in phases. The new Brown Harris Stevens will have 2,500 agents in 55 offices across the New York Tristate area and South Florida, and counts more than $9 billion in closed sales in 2019.
