Avison Young?New York announced that Christopher Johnson has joined the Tri-State Investment Sales Group as an Associate Director, focusing on providing advisory services to the owners of commercial, industrial and development real estate.

“We are thrilled to have Chris join Avison Young,” said James Nelson, Principal and Head of Tri-State Investment Sales. “He brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise in the retail and industrial space and will be a value-add for our team.”

Johnson is the Founding Partner of The Laight Group, an advisory firm which provides real estate strategies for clients with an emphasis on investment analysis.

Before founding The Laight Group, Johnson advised landlords, tenants and investors on lease and investment sales transactions for RKFand was a member of the Investment Sales group for Eastdil Secured, providing financial analysis for a diverse portfolio of transactions with a market value in excess of $2 billion.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
