Engel Burman, a full-service real estate developer in the New York tri-state area, has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by Newsday. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture that are critical to the success of an organization.
“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. This was never truer than this year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Engel Burman has been honored with numerous awards over the years”, said Scott Burman, Principal at Engel Burman and President of EB Construction, “however, this is one of the most meaningful because it was decided by our employees and during one of the most challenging times of our lives, both business and personal.” He continued, “For Engel Burman, Building Better Communities doesn’t only refer to the new communities we develop, it also refers to our community of employees. I am proud of the way we pulled together and supported each other this year.”
One employee noted, “[Engel Burman] is a large company that cares about all of their employees; Engel Burman values the people that work for them and they show it.”
