Alan Zambarano and Mandy Jaust join growing project management practice

Jeff Heller, Managing Director and Principal for Avison Young New Jersey, announced that veteran project management professionals Alan Zambarano, Senior Project Manager and Mandy Jaust, Project Manager have joined the firm.

Zambarano and Jaust join Avison Young from Transwestern, where they both served in project management supervisory roles for the last several years. In their new roles, both will oversee construction projects for Avison Young clients and will manage schedule and budget development as well as providing on-site supervision.

Zambarano and Jaust have nearly two decades each of experience in project management, including tenant interior renovations and new construction projects, and will boost Avison Young New Jersey’s expanding project management service line.

About Alan Zambarano

Zambarano brings 19 years of experience to his new position at Avison Young, which includes management of tenant interior renovations and new construction projects. At Transwestern, he supervised a team that oversaw assignments throughout the Northeast region. Alan was responsible for managing 62 projects with over $12M in construction costs and boasted a 100% project completion track record in terms of deadlines, contract, and client budget requirements. Key projects he supervised included serving as project manager for a nine-floor Wall Street property’s major sprinkler retrofit. Prior to his time at Transwestern, he also served as Project Manager for The Walsh Company, which was later acquired by Avison Young, in Morristown, NJ. Zambarano holds a degree from the Roger Williams University School of Architecture in Rhode Island.

About Mandy Jaust

Jaust has over 18 years of experience in commercial construction and has provided project management services to numerous clients in both New Jersey and New York City. During her time at Transwestern, Jaust managed capital improvement work, tenant improvement fit outs, and Local Law 11 repairs for third party clients throughout the region. She worked with building owners, asset managers, brokers, attorneys, building owners, general contractors, property managers and utility representatives and was widely recognized for her ability to complete construction work on schedule and on budget. Earlier in her career, she held project management positions with Mack-Cali, and GVA Williams. Jaust holds a degree from High Point University in High Point, NC.
