2/16/21

The transactions include two 4-story boutique rental residential buildings

The New York City office for Avison Young announced the sale of two four-story residential properties in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan. 349 East 13th Street was acquired for $3,500,000 while 405 East 6th Street was acquired for $4,000,000.

The same family had owned the properties for over 25 years.

Avison Young’s Senior Director Brandon Polakoff represented the seller and buyer in both transactions.

"We really benefited by working with a transparent and supportive seller," Polakoff said. "We capitalized on our expansive market relationships in order to locate both a 1031 buyer from California and an active local buyer for these two properties."

Both properties are near several downtown spots including Tompkins Square Park, Washington Square Park and Union Square as well as several popular restaurants and boutiques. Both buildings are also within close proximity of several mass transit options including the 4, 6, F and L subway lines and minutes away from FDR drive, providing access to the rest of the city as well as the Tri-State area.
