GoContractor, a New York- and Dublin, Ireland-based construction worker onboarding and compliance tracking digitization platform provider, raised $5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Building Ventures and Ironspring with participation from existing investors.

The company intends to use the funds to further scale across the US and European markets, grow its sales, support and marketing teams, and increase investment in its research and development organization located in Ireland.

Led by John Naughton, CEO, GoContractor provides a worker and subcontractor onboarding and data management solution that exclusively focuses on training, managing, and connecting general contractors with their workers and subcontractors in the construction industry.

With GoContractor, this entire process is completed online, through any web-enabled device. This means workers and subcontractors arrive at job sites fully prepared to work, with all of their paperwork and documentation completed beforehand. Companies can verify every worker has received complete, standardized and professional training through the GoContractor platform.
