Please submit press release copy to Dave Snyder (david.snyder@constellation.com) at Constellation for review prior to distribution. 330 Madison Associates LLC supports clean energy with Renewable Energy Certificates from Constellation that match 100 percent of 330 Madison Associates LLC’s annual electricity use. 330 Madison Associates LLC announced today that it has entered into a contract with Constellation, a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, to purchase Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to match 100 percent of its electricity use from January 2021 through April 2021.
The RECs supplied by Constellation are Green-e Energy Certified and sourced from wind energy facilities located in the lower 48 states. Throughout the term of the contract, 100 percent of the electricity 330 Madison Associates LLC uses at the contracted facilities will be matched with RECs. Each REC represents the positive environmental attributes of one megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity generated by a renewable power plant, and is retired on behalf of customers wishing to promote their environmental commitment. Through the purchase of RECs, 330 Madison Associates LLC is supporting the operation and development of facilities that generate clean, renewable energy. “We are pleased to support the sustainability goals of our customers,” said Daniel J.
