Reidy Contracting Group, an industry leader in construction management and general contracting, is pleased to announce philanthropic contributions to four New York City organizations this winter season: the Irish Arts Center, LMCC Arts Center, Nurse Heroes and St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters. Donations to each of these diverse organizations were made in lieu of holiday gifts and contributed to Reidy’s commitment to giving back to the community.

The Irish Arts Center is a New York-based arts and cultural center dedicated to building community with artists and audiences of all backgrounds, while preserving the stories and traditions of Irish culture. The center gives artists a space to create, while exposing New Yorkers to Irish arts and culture.

LMCC works to serve, connect, and make space for artists and community. Their residencies have supported the practice and built community among artists, and their grants support hundreds of arts projects throughout Manhattan. Reidy is proud to help them continue to ensure New York City remains a place where artists and communities create a more sustainable society. In 2019, Reidy also performed pro-bono construction on LMCC's Arts Center at Governors Island.

Nurse Heroes is a new initiative working to support and honor healthcare workers. Funds donated go towards programs including scholarships for nurses and their children.

St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters is a network of food and service programs and provides a range of services to feed, clothe and counsel those in need. These programs work to facilitate donations including include food, clothing, shelter and social services. The number of people who come to the pantries and shelters has tripled amid COVID-19.
